It is January 16th and this is our 3 full day in South Africa. I think Roger and I have just about completely recovered from jet lag. I don't think I ever really experienced it before. And I don't think I can completely explain it to someone who has never experienced it. It is the worst fatigue I have ever had. Even worse than sleep apnea fatigue! But that is behind us and now on to new and better things.
We attended Christian Heritage Church this morning. It is a British style church here in Krugersdorp. The praise and worship was wonderful! The Lord's presence was so strong! Br. Danny Williams gave the word this morning and it was so powerful! Many were healed of back pain and a member of the congregation gave him a word from the Lord after the service that God had especically chosen each member of this team to be on SAFARI at this time and as we moved in faith we would see marvelous things done! I do truly believe that.
SAFARI is a Semester Abroad For A Radical Impact. Roger and I are privileged to be a part of it. It is geared to college students which we are not, but we are students of the Word. We are not the only older couple here. Danny and Judith Williams are here. We also have 3 young ladies in their 20's. A young lady just turned 30. There is also a 23 yo young man and of course our beloved Kenny Gray who is 29. I love listening to these young people when they start sharing. I love the sound of youth!
I will be posting more this month.I want everyone to know what the Lord is doing and what we are learning. So come along with us on our journey. I just know it will be a blast!
Being in my 50s also, I fully appreciate the change you guys are making. I'm so excited for you and look forward to following your Great Adventure!
