Another Transition
We just returned yesterday from Kuruman where the Moffat Mission is located.. It was a tiring but interesting weekend. Classes are completed for SAFARI and at the end of this week Roger and I will be returning to the States for 12 days. Then it is off to Haiti!
I will never forget this time in Africa though. We have had the priviledge of meeting some amazing people. They will be leaving before we do to go to their field assignments for a month and then return to the Africa House here in Krugersdorp. I will miss them all; sweet Mary who has the most caring spirit I have ever seen, Brandi, courageous, beautiful and a tender heart that she tries to hide. Then there is Kara. Fun, yet quite and introspectiveat the same time and I love her clothes! She has the heart of a true artist. Christina, bubbly, talkative, still searching for her true path. And that is just the girls! Kenny and Patrick know more history than I ever dreamed of knowing. Those young men will change much in their sphere of influence for God if they stay truely connected with Him.
Danny and Judith have become very special friends who I know are friends for life. Marva and Greg have been such a blessing to all of us with their service to the Lord.
The pastors of all the churches we visited are so amazing in their faithfulness. I pray that Jehovah will provide all their needs and the needs of their churches. I do not know if I will ever see any of them again this side of heaven but I will always keep them in my prayers.
Just 12 days at home then transitioning to another adventure! I do not know the totality of what lies ahead in Haiti but I know God is in control and I am learning to trust Him completely. I also know I have not provided enough details of this trip to satisfy some but I will try to do better for Haiti.
